Shinden Fudo Ryu Soke
Toshiro Nagato Dai Shihan, a direct student of Masaaki Hatsumi, is one of the most respected instructors at the Honbu Dojo of the Bujinkan, where he has been teaching for decades. He practiced Judo from a young age, as well as Kickboxing in the 1970s.
In 2019, he received the title of 27th Soke (headmaster/successor) of the Shinden Fudo Ryu Dakentai Jutsu school. He continues to teach regularly at the Honbu Dojo in Japan and conducts Tai Kai (international Bujinkan seminars) in several countries.
Now you have the unique opportunity to train with him in Valladolid, Spain. Join the April 2027 Tai Kai and experience Bujinkan firsthand under the guidance of one of its foremost masters. This is a rare chance to deepen your understanding, refine your technique, and connect directly with the living source of this martial tradition in an inspiring and authentic setting.

Rules and guidelines
Welcome to the Taikai with Nagato Sensei.
To help everyone enjoy the event and make the most of the training experience, we kindly ask all participants to keep the following guidelines in mind.
Respect and Etiquette
- Please observe proper dōjō etiquette throughout the event and show respect to Nagato Sensei, instructors, staff and fellow participants.
- A positive attitude and consideration for others help create the best possible atmosphere for training.
Training Attire
- Participants are kindly requested to wear a clean black keikogi and appropriate training footwear.
- For training on the tatami, fabric-sole tabi, leather-sole tabi or socks may be used.
Weapons Guidelines
- No metal weapons: Only wooden or plastic weapons are allowed.
- Weapons may only be used with the instructor’s approval and within designated exercises.
- Careless or uncontrolled handling of weapons will result in exclusion from training.
Training Safely
- Please train according to your own level, experience and physical condition.
- Take care of your training partners and help maintain a safe environment for everyone.
- If you feel unwell or require assistance, please speak to a member of the event staff.
Photography and Recording
- To allow everyone to focus fully on the training, photography and video recording are not permitted during training sessions.
- The organizers will do their best to provide opportunities for photographs outside the training area.
Schedule and Organization
- Please arrive with enough time for registration and preparation before each training session.
- Following the instructions of the organizers and event staff will help ensure the smooth running of the Taikai.
Translation
- Official interpretation into English and Spanish will be provided during the seminar.

ABOUT
Bujinkan Collado Dojo
The Bujinkan Collado Dojo Association began its first steps in the city of Valladolid (Spain) in 1984, teaching Nin Jutsu – Budo Tai Jutsu in various dojos across Spanish cities: Medina del Campo, Tordesillas, Laguna de Duero, Palencia, Madrid, Santander, Zaragoza, Tarragona, and Tenerife; and later expanding to different countries such as Italy, Germany, England, Austria, etc. It currently has around 450 students distributed among all its dojos.
This Association has maintained a significant connection with the University of Valladolid (UVa), the third oldest university in Spain. In 1990, the first University Dojo began its educational activities. Currently, there are five groups operating within the UVa campuses in Valladolid and Palencia, promoting the Budo of Hatsumi Sensei.
